Materials matter. Every detail matters.
I carefully select every fabric used in my backpacks and accessories. I work with specialist textile manufacturers to find materials that offer the right balance of durability, weight, functionality and appearance.
Every material has its own character. Here's a closer look at the fabrics I use to make REHOSE products.
01 / X-PAC®
Technical laminates. Proven performance.
X-Pac fabrics combine multiple layers into advanced technical laminates reinforced with X-PLY fibres. Inspired by sailcloth technology, they are designed to deliver excellent strength, stability and low weight.
The different constructions, face fabrics and backing materials give each X-Pac version its own character and performance.
Selected fabrics used in REHOSE: VX21, VX42, X42, X50, X11, RVX25 and other variants.

02 / ULTRA®
Lightweight. Strong. Advanced.
ULTRA fabrics combine UHMWPE fibres with high-tenacity polyester in a technical woven construction. A protective film backing adds another layer of performance.
UHMWPE fibres are known for their exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. The result is a fabric designed for demanding applications where durability and weight really matter.
Selected fabrics used in REHOSE: ULTRA 400X and ULTRA 80X.

03 / CORDURA® & BALLISTIC NYLON
Classic materials. Built for everyday use.
Some materials never go out of style. Nylon fabrics such as CORDURA and ballistic nylon have a long history in backpacks, luggage and demanding outdoor equipment.
Their woven construction offers excellent abrasion resistance, tear strength and versatility. Different weights and finishes make them suitable for a wide range of applications.
Material selection depends on the individual REHOSE product and available fabric options.

Every REHOSE backpack is designed and handmade by me in South Bohemia, Czech Republic.
You can choose from the available fabric and colour combinations directly in the product configurator. Different materials bring different character to every backpack.
I believe that the right material is not just about appearance. It is about how your equipment performs and how long it stays with you.

Water-resistant does not necessarily mean waterproof. The performance of a finished backpack also depends on its construction, seams, zippers and other components.
